A native of Chicago’s Southside, Dexter has never strayed far from wine, plunging into the world of food & wine any chance he gets.
Dexter West graduated from Southern Illinois University Carbondale with his B.S in Hospitality and Tourism Administration. After graduation, Dexter plunged into the world of food and wine working at establishments like Coopershawk Winery and Restaurant, the Promontory and JW Marriott Chicago.
Dexter holds an introductory course pin from the Court of Master Sommeliers. Never straying far from wine, Dexter is currently employed with Binny’s Beverage Depot while pursuing the WSET (Wine and Spirits Education Trust) course.
Dexter’s favorite music to listen to now includes John Legend, Nas, Drake, and anything Dancehall.
