"How to be a wine expert: start your day with a smile and end it with a glass of wine."

Specializing in private cellars, Danielle loves making wine approachable for her clients as well as her 5 to Wine Time audience on YouTube, and more recently with the launch of her weekly "Get Somm".

When she is not sipping on wine, she is cooking up a storm for friends and family, while "working" on her food and wine pairing skills.

Despite holding certificates from Court of Master Sommeliers and Kendal College Wine Professional Program, Danielle is an equal opportunity sipper; she enjoys Bourbons, craft beers, Mezcal, and is just beginning to explore Armagnacs and Brandies.

Although Danielle is a Chicago gal, she also enjoys getting into nature any chance she gets whether it's a trip to national parks for some hiking or down to somewhere warm for snorkel and scuba diving.

Danielle’s go to binge-watching includes, Anything from the Marvel Universe, Insecure, Lucifer, Ozarks, Midnight Diner, and her artists on repeat list, is comprised of Thundercat, Foo Fighters, Alt-J, P!nk, Alicia Keys, Lizzo & Broadway.

Danielle's Expert Tip

Never judge a wine by the first sip. Always give wine a second taste to ensure your palate is calibrated. Residual flavors for your last bite or drink can affect your initial perception of the initial taste.
