Carneros is a region known for its power and structure, and this wine is no exception!
In true Pinot Noir fashion the tannins are a bit lighter, but this Topophilia is a wine with body and elevated fruit to match. It’s giving me plums, black pepper, and stewed raspberries.
This would be great with a dish that would bring to a picnic with some soft-ripened cheeses like brie or camembert.
