Great effort here by Airfield Estates as this Chardonnay shows wonderful notes of baked apples, pears, and pineapple to go along with whiffs of salted caramel, butterscotch, and pie crust.
The texture is round and creamy, but never feels heavy or buttery and is eminently drinkable due to its judicious use of new French oak.
Think about having some Lobster Bisque or some Comte cheese that marry the richness of flavors on your palate.
